Throughout all of history, it is stated that humans never understand or cherish what they have until they realize life without that precious thing. OFFICAL CHANGE IN DN:PLAY DEAD!

_{I have been thinking about it for sometime, and now I decided that I will change the story of "DN: Play Dead" completely. The plotline as well as the time period will be altered greatly. I will be reuploading the chapters with changes that will probably be very large, so all people who actually read it and enjoyed the Death Note theme to it, I am sorry, but I do not think my characters fit into that sort of setting.

All references to the last name Yagami will be changed to Nanette, which will now be Alice's family name. The other characters will be changed like this:
Tamaki Yagami becomes Richard "Ricki" Nanette.
Light Yagami becomes Landon Nanette.
Misa Amane is replaced by Wendy Nanette (Her character is completely different.)

The setting will change from Japan to England.
The time period will change from 2000's to 1800's.
Most of the story will take place in London.
There will be next to no references to Japan or the Japanese people.

Alice is still coming to her eighteenth year which is the year she the final year she is allowed to have until she is wed. Though she knows she should soon be married off, Alice still wishes to keep her independence and prove herself worthy of respect much like the ruling queen of England. By pushing away most of the living around her, she wishes to dig up the past questions that her family had tried to keep her in the dark from, such as the true murderer of her father as well as the reason being her mother's. In addition to all of these unanswered questions, the days are drawing nearer to something inside of her breaking free and continuing the path of blood her family is known for.

I think this story will be much better since I'll have more freedom with my own ideas to it. In a Death Note universe, there is no magic or what not, which is something I really enjoy having in my stories. I want it to seem realistic, but to have elements of a magical story to add a whole new word of ideas that I have total control over. Once again, if any of you preferred my Death Note version, I am sorry, but I will not continue it.
